Ingredients

  • 10 ounces King’s Hawaiian Pre-Sliced Slider Buns (9 buns)
  • 10-12 frozen chicken strips cooked according to package instructions
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 9 slices whole milk mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup salted butter melted (1 stick)
  • 1 ounce Italian Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh basil optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Lay the bottom half of the slider buns on a baking sheet or in a baking pan.

  • Lay the cooked chicken strips on top of the buns.

  • Spoon 1 cup of marinara sauce over the chicken, then place one slice of mozzarella over each bun and on top of the sauced chicken.

    9 slices whole milk mozzarella cheese, 1 cup marinara sauce

  • Place the slider bun tops on top of the sandwiches.

  • Stir together the melted butter, Italian Seasoning, and Parmesan. Generously brush the tops of the buns with the butter mixture. Top with the chopped basil if desired.

Becky’s tips

  • These chicken parmesan sliders are best served straight from the oven.
  • If you want a heavier sauce, you can substitute jarred pizza sauce for the marina sauce.
  • Pre-toasting the bottom half of the rolls is optional but it does help prevent soggy bottoms!
  • Be generous when brushing the melted butter onto the rolls – it’s worth it!

How to Make Chicken Parmesan Sliders Step by Step
