Job Title: Internal Web Content Manager

Department: Marketing and Communications (Team Mercury)

Reports to: Director, Communications

Position Overview:The Internal Web Content Manager is responsible for maintaining the overall health and longevity of DaVita’s intranet, the VillageWeb. This position will work with teams across the organization to maintain content, governance and the proper functioning of the platform.

Utilizing analytics and emerging best web practices, this role will be instrumental in supporting improvements to the overall digital user experience, and the implementation of future intranet enhancements.

Key duties include the following:

• Managing a team of individuals to drive the strategic vision for intranet improvements and enhancements
• Serving as subject matter expert of content-management systems, and identifying ways to implement them that meet team and audience needs
• Collaborating with IT teams on technical intranet upgrades
• Maintaining established governance practices for the platform
• Working closely with intranet content owners across lanes to develop and enhance content
• Providing analytics and insights to improve page performance and content strategy
• Providing guidance around keywords, language and metadata tags to improve search functionality
• Maintaining message and design integrity on all intranet pages using DaVita’s branding and style guide
• Monitoring emerging web trends and best practices, and developing plans for incorporating them to improve engagement with appropriate audiences

Essential Job Functions:

• Support director in executing the new strategic vision for the intranet
• Lead the planning and execution of special projects related to the intranet
• Maintain platform governance
• Support metrics/analytics reporting for intranet-related channels
• Work with the IT team to improve back-end functionality of the platform
• Support content owners across the Village
• Act as liaison with appropriate vendors

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in web, marketing or communications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience using various content management systems
• Proficient at editing, reporting and project management.
• Ability to take initiative, plan, prioritize and independently execute the completion of all projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to deliver with accuracy, integrity and attention to detail within established deadlines.
• A fierce collaborator, effective in managing relationships; influencing others not in a direct leadership chain; and communicating with all levels of management, executives and outside vendors.
• AP style proficiency preferred.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in SharePoint/Microsoft suite
• Experience managing teams

Salary/ Wage Range$62,200.00 - $91,300.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
