OFFICE 0 Choice 0 No one was reported seriously injured last night in an accident involving a compact car and a Franklin Rural Fire Company truck which was responding to a fire alarm in Fayetteville, according to borough police.
The accident occurred at 9:16 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Way East and Stouffer Avenue, police said, when the fire truck, driven by James L. Hull 23, 348 E. King was involved in a collision with a car operated by Cheryl Brechbill, 19, 223 Heritage Rd. Police said Brechbill refused treatment.
They listed $1,500 damage to her car and $100 damage to the fire truck. Fire officials said the Franklin truck was one of several from three companies dispatched to a dumpster fire at Nichols. Police say an investigation of the incident is continuing.
